How Much Does a 2022 Volvo XC90 Cost?
The 2021 XC90 luxury midsize SUV/crossover isn’t exactly straightforward in terms of trim levels and drivetrains. Momentum is available with the T5 and T6 drivetrains, although the new-for-2021 Recharge Inscription Expression is essentially a Momentum with the PHEV setup and equipped similarly. The R-Design comes with any of the three drivetrains on offer. And Inscription has either the T6 or Recharge drivetrain.
The entry-level
Momentum T5 trim ($49,995) starts out well equipped with 18-in alloy wheels, panoramic moonroof, full LED headlights with automatic high beams/active bending lights/high-pressure cleaning, LED fog lights, roof rails, rain-sensing wipers, heated windshield washer nozzles, keyless entry/ignition, power-folding side mirrors, programmable Care Key, quad-zone
automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 10-way power-adjustable front seats with drivers side memory settings, selectable drive modes, 12.3-inch digital driver information display, front/rear parking sensors, hands-free liftgate, remote garage door opener, self-dimming rearview mirror with compass, 12-volt outlet in the cargo area, Bluetooth phone/audio, 9-in touchscreen (set vertically), 10-speaker audio system, satellite radio,
Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, wireless charging, four USB ports (including a pair of USB-C ports in the second row), and an auxiliary audio input. An array of active safety features (see the Safety section below) is also included as standard. The T5 drivetrain is eligible for all-wheel drive, costing $2,500, which also includes heated front seats. Other options at the Momentum level include leather upholstery, navigation, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a Harman Kardon audio system.
R-Design T5 ($56,595) adds 20-in alloy wheels, black window trim and mirror caps, sport seats with power-adjustable thigh bolsters, Nappa leather upholstery, paddle shifters, sun shades for the rear side windows, navigation, the Harman Kardon audio system, and various cosmetic touches. This trim level is eligible for 22-inch alloy wheels. The
Inscription T6 ($64,245) has 20-in alloy wheels, perforated Nappa leather or Tailored Wool Blend upholstery, and a variety of other upscale trim pieces like a crystal gearshift knob. Inscription trim can also be ordered with massaging front seats. Second-row captain’s chairs are offered in the Momentum and Inscription trims, bringing accommodations down from seven to six. Also on the general options list are heated rear seats/steering wheel/wiper blades, second-row booster cushions, head-up display, and a 360-degree camera system. R-Design and Inscription models can be ordered with an adaptive air suspension, a self-parking feature, and a 1,400-watt/19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
